Been here a couple times now for lunch and happy hour. Food is always so delicious and the servers/host/owner are all super friendly!

Amazing establishment! Burger is phenomenal and so is the ambiance. Service is a little slower but can be expected from a smaller establishment. If you're a cocktail lover try the Pomegranate cocktail,definitely a people pleaser.

My wife and I came in here on a Friday at 6:30. We had reservations, but didn't really need them, as the restaurant wasn't very busy yet. More people started coming in after we had ordered, but it would have been easy to have secured a table just walking in. The bar is very nice with one TV and the ambience of the place is upscale. We were promptly greeted by our server who took our drink orders. I got a Blackberry Bramble with bourbon. I really liked it. It had just the right amount of sweetness that perfectly combined with the bourbon to make a good sipping cocktail. We ended up ordering the Farmer's Veg (vegetarian) for an appetizer. I assume the vegetable in this dish is seasonal, but I'm unsure. It ended up being roasted cauliflower with labneh and it was good. For my entree, I chose the Kung Pao Cauliflower (vegan). It's served with kale salad, spicy Thai chili and cashews. It was delicious and it had a good kick to it. My wife got the salmon with sides of green beans and macaroni and cheese. The sides were also good and she enjoyed her salmon. We didn't anticipate the size of the Mac and cheese, and we ended up taking the leftovers with us. For dessert, we had ordered the bread pudding but our sever accidentally put in for the blondie. We went ahead and just went with it and it was good. Other than working out some minor kinks like the incorrect dessert order and our plates being taken (and then replaced before we used them), this place is fantastic! I'll definitely come back to dine here again and it is a great spot for date night or a special occasion. They have an extensive drink menu, so I may just come here for a cocktail sometime as well.

The Shrimp & Grits are fantastic. The service is friendly, and the new location is convenient. This black owned business is on my go to list. Two thumbs up.

We were told after our meal that the. Her was award winning and he had certainly lived up to that reputation. The soup, a vegan option was tasty and provided much more than Carol eat. My grilled fish was perfect and satisfied my need for a non- beef or pork option.

Great açaí bowl! Atmosphere was nice and clean. Staff was very friendly as well. Service was timely.

First time is always good when you meet the owners and they completely engaged AND the food is firrahh!! Drank: Plantation punch Entree: Shrimp n grits Loved! Loved both! The drink was plenty tasty with rum, pineapple and spicy mango The shrimp n grits tasted just like the presentation.. the sauce was so well seasoned not too salty that the simply grilled shrimp balanced with the grits, cheese, bacon and collard green sampling atop was DELICIOUS!!! Glad I finally made it through since their different locations on Troost. 34th St seems like a fitting spot! I'm going back to try more of their menu!! This place was such a vibe. I definitely will be back. Everyone was super friendly. I felt like they wanted me to have a great experience. It was intimate & the food was DELICIOUS. Everything was plated so well & super affordable. I'm so glad I stopped through.

Loving the new location! The food at each location has been stellar and this latest visit was the same. Got to brunch with 30mins left and they were out of shrimp, so chef allowed a fish substitute. Service was great and the ambiance was perfect with the smooth R&B playing. Def will be back for brunch and dinner soon.

Just visited the newly opened location at Armour and Troost. Menu has been upscaled from previous locations. I like the vibe in the new location. Fun drinks. Attentive staff. Excellent food. A welcomed addition to midtown.
